Adult film star Matthew Rush shocks fans with police mugshot after meth arrest
Adult film star Matthew Rush has been arrested for allegedly possessing meth and drug paraphernalia.
The gay adult performer was arrested in Broward County, Florida, following the police investigation.
Rush, whose real name is Gregory Grove, is now awaiting trial for the charges, with a bond set at $1,000.
The specific charges are for “possession of a controlled substance such as methamphetamine without a valid prescription, except by a physician or pharmacist,” which is a third degree felony.
The next charge is for “possession of Drug Paraphernalia,” which is illegal to possess with intent to use.
If convicted on the third degree felony charge, Rush could face up to five years in state prison.
Fans were left shocked by the arrest of one of America’s most successful x-rated stars.
Followers are more used to seeing him looking ripped and attractive in the seductive films.
But an official police mugshot showed the actor looking dishevelled, with red, tired eyes and an unshaven face.
Taking to Facebook, he tried to re-assure fans he was in “good health”.
He wrote: “I’m fine. Thanks to everyone and their support.
“I’m in good health and going to lay low. Thank you everyone.”
According to Str8upGayPorn (NSFW), Rush’s partner earlier this month filed an “ejectment complaint”, essentially an eviction notice.
It is unclear where he’s laying low as he awaits trial.
