Sam Smith says he struggles with relationships after he’s photographed kissing Brandon Flynn
Singer Sam Smith has opened up about his love life in a new interview.
The 25-year-old star says he has struggled through relationships due to a lack of experience.
Speaking to Billboard magazine, the Oscar winner admitted he wasn’t as mature as he would like when it comes to romance.
“I do feel I’m a bit behind in my relationships,” he said.
“I wish I’d been in a long-term relationship by this age. But then, I didn’t move to London until I was 19.
“I’d grown up in an area where I was the only gay guy in school, the only gay guy in my village.
“I’d definitely be emotionally richer now if I’d had a long-term relationship, but if it wasn’t easy while I was growing up, it’s hardly going to be any easier for me now, is it?”

Earlier this week he sent the internet into a tailspin after he was photographed with 13 Reasons Why star Brandon Flynn.
The multi-platinum selling artist had denied dating anyone as recently as two weeks ago.
But now it looks like he has found romance after he was snapped making out with Brandon.
The pair looked relaxed and content as they strolled through New York City together.
In one photograph, the two guys can be seen kissing while Sam has his arm around the 13 Reasons Why actor.

Speaking just a few weeks ago Sam told Beats 1 of his new music: “I’m still very, very single.
“I think I’m even more single than I was when I released In the Lonely Hour, so I’m insanely single.”
23-year-old Brandon, who plays Justin Foley, came out as gay just last month in an emotional post to Instagram.
