Paloma Faith gatecrashed a gay couple’s wedding and then married them

Pop star Paloma Faith gatecrashed a gay couple’s wedding day before marrying the grooms in epic TV scenes last night.

The Never Tear Us Apart singer was appearing on Emma Willis’ new ITV show, Your Song, to surprise two of her biggest fans.

The TV special saw celebrity singers write and perform a song for some of their biggest fans who have given back to their community.

That included husbands-to-be Chris and James, who had a surprise wedding day with Paloma.

The singer had already been involved the couple’s wedding.

On Valentine’s Day she posted a video proposing on behalf of James, which Chris was over-the-moon about.

That left Chris with the challenge of outdoing his other half’s impressive celeb endorsement.

Telling James that he was attending a charity gala, he gathered the couple’s friends, family and Emma Willis for a surprise wedding day.

But when the ceremony got to the fateful stage of asking if anyone knew of a reason the couple couldn’t be wed, there was one surprise guest.

Paloma gate crashed the ceremony to the shock of the grooms and guests.

She then proceeded to marry the couple herself.

The couple wept as they said their vows in the presence of the pop star.

She then performed a song written especially for their special day.

The show was a one-off special by Simon Cowell’s record label, SyCo.

Paloma revealed over the weekend that she plans to raise her kids gender-neutral.

The star has been very private since giving birth in December, refusing to reveal the name of her first child with boyfriend Leyman Lahcine.

And in a new interview with the Mirror, she said she plans to raise all of her children gender-neutral.

Paloma told the Mirror: “I’m loving being a mum.

“I want two or three kids in all and they’ll be gender neutral.”

Going on, she said she planned to dress her kids in gender-neutral colours.

She continues: “I just want them to be who they want to be.”
