Anti-gay married Republican lawmaker ‘sexually harassed dozens of young men’

A married anti-LGBT Republican lawmaker groped a teenage boy in his sleep, it has been claimed.
Wes Goodman, an Ohio congressman who resigned last week after being caught having sex with a man in his office, has been accused of sexual harassment by 30 people.
The 33-year-old previously trumpeted his support for “a committed natural marriage,” which he defined as a heterosexual union.
He also said on Instagram that he was having “great times” at an event for Focus on the Family, a listed anti-LGBT hate group.
The group has a history of extreme comments, with its leader James Dobson claiming the 2012 massacre of innocent children at Sandy Hook Elementary School was “God’s judgment” for the acceptance of gay marriage.
It has also claimed that the “primary goal” of the gay rights movement is to legalise paedophilia, that homosexuality is a curable mental condition and that public schools are being used to groom children “barely out of babyhood” into gay lifestyles.
New revelations in the Independent Journal Review allege that Goodman has engaged in sexual misconduct many times.
He also allegedly groped an 18-year-old when the college student was asleep, according to The Washington Post.
The teenager said that after a 2015 fundraiser near Washington, D.C., then-candidate Goodman and he both returned to the hotel they were both staying at.
“Wes pushed me to come to his room,” the student claimed, adding that Goodman even offered the teenager the other side of his bed. The student eventually accepted the offer.

While the 18-year-old was sleeping, his parents said that Goodman “unzipped his pants and fondled him in the middle of the night.”
According to the IJR, 30 sources have come forward to talk about how Goodman made inappropriate sexual advances on them.
He typically contacted men between 18 and 24 on Facebook Messenger before switching to Snapchat, where he would flirt, solicit sex and even send pictures of his genitals.

He allegedly used his full name – Wesley Goodman – and was seemingly unaware that Snaps could be photographed by other devices.
One message read: “You should be here getting your d**k sucked”.
Others from the same account said: “I’m so hard,” “Bet that big c**k needs work” and “Gotta let that monster loose lol”.
One source claimed that the Republican lawmaker had sent him a graphic video after adding him on Snapchat.

The man said he thought being connected on Snapchat “would be a great way to build a professional relationship with an upcoming conservative lawmaker and seemingly solid guy.
“However, he constantly sent me Snaps and was always commenting on my stories.
“He also asked how much ‘p***y’ I was getting and wondering what I was doing on Friday and Saturday nights. I started to think something was a little weird,” he continued.
“He also asked if I would be coming up to D.C. in January for March for Life. He also repeatedly invited me up to Ohio so I could job shadow him and tour the Ohio Capital.”

But the most explicit messages, he alleged, were to follow.
The source said “in November 2016, one night, he started a conversation about how his wife was asleep and he was bored. I didn’t reply for about 30 min after opening the Snapchat.
“Then, he sent me videos of him masturbating as well as d**k pics. He also sent another Snapchat asking how big my penis was.
“I immediately blocked him. He later [messaged] me on both Instagram and Facebook leading me to block him on both apps as well.”

This was part of a pattern, other sources said.
More than half of IJR’s sources said that Goodman frequently messaged them in the middle of the night on Facebook or Snapchat and said his wife was sleeping and he was “horny.”
Goodman would then initiate sexting, they said, during which the politician talked about his penis size and asked the other person what they were doing at that exact moment.

One source, who said he met Goodman through their mutual friends at Ohio State, said the Republican would ask him about “coming over” and “helping him out”.
The conversation would quickly become sexual in nature, he added.
Goodman would say that he needed help “alpha to alpha” and that “it wouldn’t be gay if it’s just two alphas,” he alleged.
The source also claimed he received several inappropriate pictures and that Goodman asked about his penis size and other details “in ways that weren’t appropriate in general.”
