Dustin Lance Black says Tom Daley is still attracted to women

Tom Daley and new husband Dustin Lance Black have opened up about married life.

The couple, who got married earlier this year, told the Attitude Heroes podcast their relationship has “struggles” as they deal with frequently being apart.

The Olympic diver admitted that the couple have spent as much as five weeks at a time apart due to transatlantic schedules while dating.

“Our relationship is far from perfect,” he told the podcast.

“We have really tough times and struggles. For example we went long distance for a very, very, long time: he was in LA, I was living in London. We would spend sometimes five weeks apart.

“And it’s something that was really, really tough and we’ve had to make massive and dramatic changes in our lives in order to be able to live together and see each other all the time. So it’s not all plain sailing.”

Tom came out as being attracted to men in December 2013, in a video that has now been viewed more than 12 million times.

He has declined to label his sexuality since coming out.

Now husband Dustin has revealed he is still attracted to women, saying: “I don’t know if I’ll be in trouble for this; his head still turns for girls.”


The pair married in a a stunning wedding ceremony earlier this year.

The couple honeymooned in locations across Europe and America for their travels.

They were photographed unwinding in Barcelona, Spain, before moving on to New York City.

The pair even hung out with former US president Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a film premier, before unwinding in Hawaii.

Writing from the island state, Tom said: “Back to reality! We are back in the UK after such an incredible few weeks of adventures.

“We had the best honeymoon ever! Time to get ready for a LIVE YouTube workout”.

Meanwhile Dustin posted a stunning photo of the pair making a heart shape with their hands under sunset.

Alongside a second pic with a new canine friend, DLB wrote: “Home from the ! Couldn’t be more grateful for all the new friends and memories… including Stewie. More photos to come, but now it’s time for a long nap!”

“So this honeymoon thing… I highly recommend it,” the 23-year-old cheekily shared with fans on Twitter.

Daley has been in his trans-Atlantic relationship since 2013, when the couple first met and announced their engagement in 2015 by revealing it in The Times newspaper.
