Little Mix threw a drag birthday party – and fans are loving it
Little Mix brought the party with a drag-themed celebration for band member Jade Thirwall’s 25th birthday.
Deciding on a party theme is always tricky – but Little Mix did not disappoint.
Despite the absence of Little Mix member Perrie Edwards, ‘The Triple Bae Girls’ seemed to have a blast celebrating what came to be known on social media as #Jades25thKiKi.
With elaborate gowns, glitter and everything done in drag, band members Jessy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock helped Jade celebrate the Inclusive Industry event.
Fans reacted to Jade’s alter ego, Shaneeda Nibbles, with ecstasy.
Despite drag queen Willam Belli not being able to make the event, the drag queen seemed to have a huge impact on the night; helping Jade to create her drag name.
Jade also rocked highlighted hair similar to some of Willam’s wigs.
And she sported a Willam-themed fan, so the connection was clear.
One fan tweeted: “Jade’s Birthday Party is seriously the most iconic party of all time Don’t fight me at this”
Even Jade’s boyfriend and his parents embraced the drag look.
In a multi-coloured dress made by Zigman, Jade turned the party and celebrated in style.
This isn’t the first time she’s shown her passion for drag.
Jade attended DragCon earlier this year, and Willam, Courtney Act and Alaska Thunderfuck all featured in Little Mix’s hit single ‘Power’.
Jade has described RuPaul as an inspiration for her “as an artist and performer”, helping her to find her inner-confidence.
She definitely showed that confidence on Saturday night when friends, family and queens came together to celebrate the occasion.
Happy 25th, Jade!
