Man jailed for ten years for ‘vicious’ homophobic attack in London
A man has been jailed for ten years for carrying out a “vicious” homophobic attack in London.
Kamil Wladyslaw Snios, 29, was jailed for ten years at Wood Green Crown Court after being found guilty of grievous bodily harm.
The Stamford Road, Tottenham resident approached victim at shops on Stamford road.

Police described the attack, which resulted in a victim receiving treatment for fractures to his leg as “vicious”.
The victim, 36, had been on his way to the shops when Snios shouted at them in Polish, slapped and kicked him to the ground and kicked him as he crawled away.
According to the Met Police, Snios held up a packet of cigarettes he took out of the victim’s pocket and held it up as a trophy to show nearby friends.
The victim had been taken to a North London hospital and received treatment for four fractures to his leg.
After being arrested, Snios made a number of homophobic remarks in an interview with police.

He also noted homophobia as the motivation for the attack.
Detective Constable Mark Nicholls from Haringey CID, said: “We are pleased to have secured this sentencing for a needless, unprovoked and sustained assault that left the victim seriously injured and frightened.
“It is evident that the Met will not tolerate homophobic attacks and will work to bring offenders to justice.”
