Alex Jones says the new Star Wars is ‘total SJW’ and Princess Leia is a lesbian

Radio host and go-to right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has found something else to lash out at this week.
The recently released Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The film is, according to Jones, “chock-full of political propaganda,” and “total SJW.”

General Hux is apparently supposed to look like Eric Trump, leading us to associate the President with the evil First Order (hey, he said it, not us.)
And Admiral Holdo is supposedly the epitome of the “bitchy feminist who hates men,” because she wouldn’t let men “assert their dominance.”

Jones then said Princess Leia was a lesbian, calling Holdo her “girlfriend with purple hair.”
There has in fact never been a lesbian relationship in Star Wars, or even an openly lesbian character, but that didn’t stop Jones.
“Every movie the women are the bosses, the women are the heroes, they’re all lesbians,” he said.
“It’s the same story over and over again.”

Star Wars has received a lot of attention from LGBT+ fans, not for Jones’ alleged Leia/Holdo relationship, but for a rumoured gay romance between lead characters Finn and Poe, to the point that even the actors have addressed it.

Oscar Isaac, who plays Poe, has said he is potentially “open to those possible storylines,” and that the issue of representation was very important to him, particularly as a Latino actor.
John Boyega, who plays Finn, said that the fans must have seen the love in Oscar’s eyes. “Either he needs to chill or come out,” he joked.
Meanwhile costars Daisy Ridley and Kelly Marie Tran have made it pretty clear they want Finn and Poe to happen, with Tran saying “I ship them actually!”
Jones, who has been dubbed “the world’s craziest homophobe,” also said the film was “state-sponsored brainwashing.”
However, despite feeling informed enough to make such claims, Jones then admits that he hasn’t in fact seen the film yet, and is basing his judgment off his wife’s review.
In another bizarre rant earlier this month, Jones tore into the “LGBTQ23PCL4 agenda”, claiming kids are being taught to have sex with cars.
And, in one of the weirdest claims of this year, he said that that butch lesbians are predisposed to domestic violence and eating brains.
