K-pop stars LOONA release song celebrating same-sex love
Up-and-coming K-pop stars LOONA have released a new song celebrating same-sex love.
The video from the stars gained more than 300,000 views in two days and is for the song ‘Heart Attack’.
It features two women in love despite same-sex relationships still being stigmatised in South Korea.
The song also features lyrics suggesting it is a love song.
The lyrics include: “This is what ‘fall in love’ is / Dipped you inside my white heart, and made it red.”
The group has released songs since October 2016.
Each song introduces a new member of the group.
The latest single ‘Heart Attack’ introduces the member Chuu.
The group plans to debut in 2018 unveiling all 12 members.
