Trump disinvited from visiting UK, pretends it is due to ‘bad deal’ embassy

A world-renowned homophobe, sexist and racist who happens to also be the President of the United States of America has said that he will no longer be visiting the UK due to the cost of the US embassy in London.

President Donald Trump, a known purveyor of fake news, decided to tell the Twitterverse that he would not be visiting the UK due to the Obama administration approving a new US embassy in an “off location”. Hmm, okay then…

For those of us who live in the UK, we might be inclined to think that the 1,863,708 people who petitioned the government to ask Trump not to come the country might be responsible.

At one point, the petition compelled so much passion from the British public that 1000 people signed it per minute.

The responses to Trump’s outright lie are of course suitably hilarious.

Others were quick to point out that the embassy was not in fact sold by Obama, but President Bush Jnr.

Although one might be tempted to refer to Bush Jnr as Trump’s Republican bedfellow, even he decided against voting for Trump in the 2017 election.

In the meantime, House Democrats have officially started the process to impeach Trump.

Maybe then he’ll regret never tweeting from his official @POTUS account.
