Kylie Minogue unveils glitzy video for Dancing as she reveals comeback album
Kylie Minogue has revealed the video for her comeback song Dancing.
In the new video Kylie flaunts her inner country queen as she dances around in glitzy cowgirl outfits.
The star’s new album, expected in early 2018, is reportedly inspired by “a little bit of heartbreak”, after she dramatically split from her fiancé early last year.
The album, to be called Golden, will be her first original studio album since Kiss Me Once in 2014.
In 2015 she also released an album of Christmas songs called Kylie Christmas.
The 49-year-old says she’s ready to release “super positive and inspiring” new music.
The new song, Dancing, has already charted on iTunes.
In it Kylie sings: “No one wants to stay at home. Nobody wants to be alone. When you come knocking, I’ll be at your door,” she sings. “I don’t ever wanna stop, I’m gonna give it all I’ve got.”
Adding in the chorus: “When I go out, I wanna go out dancing!”
Her engagement to husband-to-be Joshua Sasse ended following accusations that Sasse had cheated on Kylie with another actress.
“I went to Nashville for two weeks and that became the album. I did a lot of work on the album before that but Nashville had a profound effect on me,” she told Biz On Sunday.
“The songs are very storytelling and story-based. It was so great to do things a little bit differently.”
Kylie told The Sun: “In the last year, there’s been some of that, but we bounce back.
“Most of it is super positive and inspiring, as a note to self as much as anything else. I’m feeling great right now.”
She added: “It was good. In the studio it’s a slightly weird concept to be spending seven, eight, nine hours in a room with people sometimes you don’t know.
“If you’re working with good people it’s the perfect place to deal with stuff.

Kylie was reportedly devastated after splitting from her fiancé in February 2017.
They had been dating for almost two years after meeting on a US show Sasse stars in, where Kylie made a guest appearance.
Sasse had said the couple wouldn’t get married until same-sex marriage was legal in Australia, which happened at the end of 2017.
The pledge came true after the couple called off their engagement before marriage equality was introduced.
Minogue was vocal in her support of the “Say I Do Down Under” campaign.
Last week, Kylie released the track listing for Golden:
