Rodrigo Alves to quit life as ‘Human Ken Doll’ after splashing $1m on 160 procedures
Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves has declared that he will never have a new plastic surgery again – after splashing more than one million dollars on work.
The Brazilian born, London living cosmetic obsessive shocked followers when he went under the knife for a 60th time to have four ribs removed earlier this year.
The procedure was his 160th time having having either surgical or cosmetic work to change his appearance.
Rodrigo has had ten nose jobs, a bum lift, silicone chest implants, eight-pack implants and various hair implants.
In January he had four “floating ribs” extracted, which left him reliant on a corset to protect his spine while recovering from the invasive surgery.
The 34-year-old admitted to feeling like he had “been run over by a truck” days after the operation.
Now he says the rib removal is to be his final procedure and is finally content with his looks.
He told The Mirror: “I’m done. My body, mind and soul now match,” he confirmed. “It’s been a long journey, but I’m happy.
“Its been five years since I became known as the Human Ken Doll. [In that time] I have done more the sixty TV shows, [including] eight documentaries.
“From now on I shall carry on looking after myself to maintain my ageless looks…by going to the gym and living a healthy lifestyle.”
The cosmetic obsessive, who has said he is asexual, said of his rib operation: “It has been now one month after surgery and I feel great – just a bit stiff.”
Rodrigo was the first man in the world to undergo the procedure, following just a handful of women.
He claimed to have wanted the highly dangerous procedure to help him fit into tight blazers more easily.
“I have to wear a corset all the time, including to sleep, [but] it helps to shape my waist and speeds-up the healing.
“My waist looks really tiny and the rib removal by doctor Mike K. Obeng was truly worth it. Having said that, I have gained few stone since the procedure.
“In order to heal faster one needs to eat and I have been really treating myself. Since my natural body and genes are to be fat, I can put [weight] on really easily.
“I’m very healthy, but the only minimal issue that I have is with my breathing, after 10 nose jobs my breathing is not good – making me sound nasal.
“I have been talking elocution classes in order to improve that.”
Rodrigo also told The Sun Online “I’m officially made but if anything falls apart – like if my face goes wonky – then I’ll have to get more work done.”
“I now want to focus on building my brand with my style, fashion, personality and lifestyle – that’s what I want to be known for.
“I was at the Golden Globes in LA last week and I met a lot of people who would be interested in my work as an actor too.”
“I can see the result without the corset but when I have it on, that’s when people can see the dramatic results,” Rodrigo told Sun Online.
“On a good day, it goes down to 20 inches… And by a good day, I mean when I don’t eat anything for a day.”
Speaking to This Morning hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Rodrigo flaunted his tiny waistline.
“I had four ribs removed so I can do my blazers up without having to breathe in or have them altered,” he told the duo.
He originally wanted to have six ribs removed and spoke with a string of professionals to try and convince them.
But doctors refused to perform the surgery in full, saying the risks are too great, and instead agreed to remove the four “floating ribs”.
He said: “It is dangerous to internal organs. My ribs that were the 11th and 12tth, they are the floating ribs there is not much use for them.”
He added: “I am the only man to have the procedure done. A few women have but they don’t talk about it.”
Viewers were shocked when the Instagram celebrity then showed off his ribs in a jar.have my own banked already.”
Storing his removed body parts will allow Rodrigo to use them in future if he needs extra gristle for a procedure or reconstruction.
