RuPaul’s Drag Race queens called ‘faggots’ and ‘walking STDs’ in homophobic attack

Two RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants have been subject to homophobic abuse in public.

Season nine queens Shea Coulee and Farrah Moan were told they were “faggots,” “slut” and a “walking STDs” by two girls in a Newcastle kebab shop.

Farrah responded with some fantastic comebacks, including telling the abusers that they were “greasy,” before saying: “We’re touring the world being gay. What are you doing?”

“You’re living in Newcastle with your crusty-ass eyelashes,” Farrah added.

Farrah then asked the girls, who shared the encounter on Snapchat, why they were “so greasy,” to which one replied: “Why are you so gay?”

The queen responded: “Because I’m a motherf**king star.”

And in a video posted on YouTube, Shea told the crowd at one of their shows that they had received some unorthodox assistance from a fan who stepped in to protect them from the “hateful and basic” girls.

“There was a 6’2″ glamazon there named Steph… I need to find Steph, because Steph was at our show, and she told these young ladies: ‘Don’t do that. Do you know who these people are?'” the drag queen said.

“And I was like, ‘No, no, it’s not about who we are, it’s just about the fact that we’re all human and we all should be respectful.

“And so one of the girls – bless – one of the girls decided: ‘I’m gonna run my mouth, and I’m gonna keep calling you a faggot, and so Steph stood up, and she said: ‘You wanna go?’

“And y’all, we didn’t know that Steph was 6’2” when she was sitting down. She looked average as hell. That bitch stood up, looked down at this little bitch like: ‘You wanna fight?’

“Y’all, do you know this little girl looked this woman dead-ass in her eye and said: ‘Yes.'”

Shea recalled how the girl asked Steph: “‘You’re gonna f**king hit me over some dumb fag?’ – and she barely got the word fag out of her mouth and Steph f**king throat-punched her.”

This elicited loud cheers from the crowd.

On Twitter, Farrah wrote: “so I didnt wanna bring attention to the negativity that happened to me and shea last night in Newcastle at a kebab shop but the vid is spreading.

“No need to apologise on behalf of the city- our show was amazing and theres homophobic tw**s all over the world. Love you guys!”

She said she wasn’t completely proud of her response to the abuse, tweeting: “I didn’t maintain my classiness to well in the video… I was drunk as hell and some lil girl came up to Shea and I with her phone calling us faggots, walking stds cuz my hair was pink and I guess she was white girl wasted .”

The 24-year-old queen explained: “The only reason I addressed it was because came home to find my inbox flooded and I didn’t want anyone getting wrongly accused.

“Also I got thousands of death threats after drag race so I think these homophobic ass holes will be fine lol let’s not sympathise w/ abusers.”
