Marc Jacobs has got engaged to his partner in one pretty unusual location – a Chipotle restaurant.
Bending down on one knee, Jacobs popped the question to Charly DeFrancesco in the fast-food Mexican chain on Wednesday – with a flash mob fanfare performing behind him.
“And this happened…”Charly Defrancesco will you marry me”? #flashmobatchipotle #moves THANK YOU everyone for making this happen video @plural_nyc @laurengerrie @seandon212 @1.800.newbold And to my Ride or Die fiancé @chardefrancesco I LOVE YOU❤️,” wrote Jacobs on Instagram.
Charly, who is a candlemaker, is seen nodding in the video, leading the dancers to erupt in cheers.
He also thanked the dancers for taking part and is overjoyed with his husband-to-be.
The 54-year-old designer has proclaimed that his beloved partner is ‘the love of his life’ in a Instagram post celebrating his birthday.
The couple, who are regularly seen at high profile events together, might be regulars of the branch.
They live nearby in New York’s West Village.
