RuPaul’s Drag Race stars throw shade over Robbie Turner’s car crash claims
RuPaul’s Drag Race star Robbie Turner has still not spoken out since she claimed to have been involved in a fatal car crash.
Last week, Turner took to Twitter to describe a late night drink-driving incident that apparently killed her Uber driver, but left her with little more than scratches.
Many have questioned whether the Season 8 star’s claims were accurate after authorities said they have no record of such an incident.
While Turner is yet to explain the alleged incident – and Turner’s rep has not yet returned a request for comment from PinkNews – other queens have been quick to throw shade on the situation.

Speaking at a Drag Race viewing party in Seattle, Season 10 star Aquaria hit close to the bone as she declared: “I’m here to have an uber great time with you guys.
“I’m just going to hit and run with all of these jokes. If I hit and miss, just forget about them.”
She was one of many Drag Race stars and fans to weigh in on the situation.
Turner, real name Jeremy Baird, reported taking an Uber home on the night of April 14, after performing at Queer/Bar, when the car was hit by an apparently drunk driver.
The Uber driver was killed in the collision, Turner claimed.
The drag star has not posted online or responded to requests for comment, she has agreed to take personal leave from her role as Queer/Bar’s entertainment director and as its weekly drag show host.
The Seattle venue raised concerns over the authenticity of the story posted online.
Joey Burgess, Queer/Bar’s owner and operator, told Seattle based news site The Stranger that “Robbie will be taking some time away to try to figure out what’s best for him.”
In a statement, Queer/Bar confirmed that “the company learned of this supposed incident last weekend from Robbie’s social media post.”
They added: “In full support of our friend and manager, we reached out to evaluate Robbie’s condition and offer any help with his physical and mental recovery.
“We also reached out in an attempt to support the driver’s family in their difficult time. And then we discovered some inconsistencies with the story.”
A spokesperson from the Seattle Police Department said: “I am not aware of anything like that occurring, nor are any of my colleagues aware of this accident.”
A representative from Uber also said that none of their drivers had been involved in a drink-driving accident.
