Milo Yiannopoulos flees bar after chants of ‘get out Nazi scum’

Milo Yiannopoulos was recently “forced” to flee a New York City bar as other patrons chanted “get out Nazi scum” until he left the venue.
On Sunday, the former Breitbart news editor visited a bar in New York City which happened to be hosting a Democratic Socialists of America meeting.
In a video posted by the New York branch of the left-wing group, Yiannopoulos can be seen retrieving a backpack from a bartender while the crowd behind him shouts, “Get out Nazi scum.”

Yiannopoulos can then be seen quickly leaving the bar.
After leaving, Yiannopoulos shared a photo of himself inside the unnamed bar on social media, captioning the selfie: “I was just shoved and screamed at by a big group in a pub in Manhattan and forced out of the place.”

“They were screaming at the top of their lungs about ‘Nazis’ and ‘KKK,'” he continued.
“Initially I was going to stay put obviously but they blocked me from my table and my bag and yelled at me to leave and it was about to escalate into something ugly.”

Yiannopoulos told The Independent that he was “100 percent” certain that if he had not left the bar, the altercation would have become violent.
He said: “Violence had already occurred. They shoved me twice. Obviously, they don’t post that bit of the video.”
Yiannopoulos, a former columnist and semi-professional internet troll, was hastily ditched as an alt-right figurehead in 2017 after damaging tapes emerged in which he discussed men who have sex with underage boys.

In one of the videos, Yiannopoulos attacks the age of consent as an “arbitrary one-size-fits-all policing of culture.”
He also claimed that “in the homosexual world, particularly, some of those relationships between younger boys and older men (…) help those young boys discover who they are.”

In the 24 hours after the videos were discovered, the columnist was dropped from far-right news website Breitbart News, had his book deal axed by Simon & Schuster, and was removed from the line-up of the Republican CPAC conference.
Court documents filed after the cancellation of his book deal revealed some scathing – and hilarious – edits to Yiannopoulos’ autobiography manuscript, which quickly became a meme of their own.
The darling of the alt-right movement was deeply controversial prior to the scandal, previously claiming he would “cure” himself of being gay if he could, describing trans people as “mentally ill gay men dressing up for attention,” and using a university lecture to single out and bully a transgender student onstage.
