Just like us regular plebs, celebrities used to beĀ young ā€“ and made the transition from geeky cute kids to awkward teenagers to beautiful, flawless adults.

We’veĀ opted to contrast mostly cute kiddy pics with adultĀ snaps here, though glo up is technically defined as ‘when someone becomes really attractive or hot after puberty’.

From Kristen Stewart to Demi Lovato, here are some of our favourite LGBT glo up stars.

Cara Delevingne

Model and actress Cara Delevingne, who has been involved in high-profile relationships with other famous women,Ā previously defined her sexuality as ā€œfluidā€, and recently spoke out aboutĀ coming to terms with being genderfluid.

That’s so Raven! Raven seemingly came out in 2012 when she applauded the legalisation of same-sex marriage, saying: ā€œI can finally get married!ā€.

She later issued an official statement saying that her sexual orientation belonged to her and her the person she is dating ā€“ not the public, but then in a segment on The View in March 2016 on the classy ways which women can reject men, she simply said ā€œIā€™m a lesbian, so good luckā€¦ and no, I wonā€™t do that!ā€

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato, a longtime LGBT advocate and singer,Ā revealed last year that she was open to dating women, saying: ā€œThatā€™s how Iā€™ve always felt.ā€

The Barney and Friends child star also opened upĀ about her sexual orientation, saying: “Iā€™m very fluid, and I think love is love. You can find it in any gender.

ā€œI like the freedom of being able to flirt with whoever I want.ā€

Anna Paquin

At just nine-years-old, Anna PaquinĀ launched her acting career with a role The Piano. She then grew up and has had roles in US TV series True Blood and the X-Men franchise. Way back in 2010, PaquinĀ said she was bemused at all the fuss around her coming out as bisexual.

ā€œIt wasnā€™t like it was a big secret,” she explained.Ā ā€œIā€™m not someone who endlessly talks about her personal life for no reason, but obviously, as someone who identifies as bisexual, those are issues I really care about and frankly, I donā€™t see why everyone doesnā€™t care about them.ā€

Miley Cyrus

Hannah Montana child star Miley Cyrus certainly shook off her cute Disney reputation. Since becoming a grownup she identifies asĀ pansexual, and has referred to herself as ā€œa gender-neutral, Ā­sexually fluid person.”

Previously,Ā Cyrus opened up about her struggleĀ coming to terms with her identity.

ā€œMy whole life, I didnā€™t understand my own gender and my own sexuality. I always hated the word ā€˜bisexual,ā€™ because thatā€™s even putting me in a box,” she said.

ā€œI donā€™t ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl,ā€ she added.

Jodie Foster

Jodie Foster has become one of the most well-known LGBT personalities in Hollywood.

She married her partner, Alexandra Hedison, in 2014 ā€“ after dating for a year.

Foster started acting when she was just three years old, and as a teen had roles in Taxi Driver, Bugsy Malone, and Freaky Friday.

Another child star, Evan Rachel WoodĀ came out as bisexual in 2011Ā and previouslyĀ recalled that hearing an actor say the word ā€˜bisexualā€™ in her youth madeĀ her understand who she was and that she did not feel marginalised at all.

ā€œIt made me feel less crazy. It made me feel less alone. It gave me hope.ā€

Bella Thorne

Before starring in theĀ Disney ChannelĀ sitcomĀ Shake It Up, Bella Thorne played a young Taylor Townsend in The O.C.Ā Bella has spoken about howĀ studios questioned her ā€œimageā€ after she came out as bisexualĀ in 2016.

She confirmed she was bisexual on Twitter when asked by a fan. She simply responded ā€œyesā€ to the question.

Janelle MonƔe

Janelle MonĆ”e came out as queer just last month, and described herself as ā€œa queer black womanā€ who wasnā€™t sure if she was bisexual or pansexual, adding: ā€œIā€™m open to learning more about who I am.ā€

ā€œBeing a queer black woman in America, someone who has been in relationships with both men and women ā€“ I consider myself to be a free-ass motherf**ker,ā€ she explained.

Drew Barrymore

Drew BarrymoreĀ made her breakout role as aĀ child actressĀ inĀ Steven Spielberg’s filmĀ E.T. the Extra-TerrestrialĀ (1982).

The Santa Clarita Diet star came out as bisexual in 2003. She has been married three times, to Jeremy Thomas, Tom Green and Will Kopelman.

She previously said of her sexuality: ā€œDo I like women sexually? Yeah, I do. Totally. I have always considered myself bisexual.ā€

Ellen Page

Inception star Ellen Page came out as gay in anĀ incredibly moving speech at the Human Rights Campaign back in 2014.Ā She said she was ā€œtired of lying by omission.ā€

The star has since strongly campaigned for LGBT+ rights and has saidĀ she wished she had come out sooner.

Before becoming an adult, however,Ā Page’s first acting gig was in 1997 at age ten in theĀ CBC televisionĀ movieĀ Pit Pony, which laterĀ became a television series.

Kristen Stewart

Twilight star Kristen StewartĀ came out back in 2015.Ā She later responded on SNL to President Trumpā€™s ā€œobsessionā€ with her,Ā saying ā€œIā€™m so gay, dudeā€.

Back when she was a kid, she starred alongside Jodie Foster in Panic Room. Foster was finally given the honour of her own spot on the Hollywood Walk of FameĀ last year ā€“ and Stewart presented her with the honour.
