Woman shouts anti-gay slurs and pulls gun over two-minute wait for McDonald’s fries

A woman reportedlyĀ shouted anti-gay slurs and pulled a gun at McDonald’sĀ employeesĀ over a two-minute waitĀ for a portion of smallĀ fries.

The incident took place at a drive-thru in Albany, New York,Ā on Saturday evening, reports theĀ New York Post.Ā

According to the paper, the unnamed woman had been waiting for a small portion of fries for two minutes when staff asked her to pull up in a parking lot so that they could bring the fries over to her.

The woman is claimed to have then launched into a tirade of verbal threats andĀ homophobic slurs at McDonald’s workers, before threatening them with a gun.

The branch’s manager Robin Perez toldĀ New York Post: “She was like, ā€˜f**k you!’ She was very upset and wouldnā€™t park. She was arguing and called my employee a ‘f****t.’ā€

Perez said the woman even threw her slushy at the drive-thru window.

ā€œShe came inside the store screaming and shouting, cursing people out,ā€ heĀ added.

The woman then allegedly walked out of the restaurant back into the drive-thru,Ā where sheĀ took outĀ a black handgun fromĀ her waistband and brandished it at the manager.

ā€œIt was quite intense,ā€ PerezĀ added. ā€œEveryone was shaken up.”

The woman’s friend, who was in the car at the time, managed to calm her down before the two subsequently left.

Police are looking for the unidentified woman and reviewing CCTV footage of the event.
