Sarah Paulson has a message for critics who have a problem with her and Holland Taylor’s age gap

Sarah Paulson has clapped back at critics who have a problem with the 32-year age gap between her and partner Holland Taylor.
Actor Paulson, 43, said that she does not want to be defined by her relationship with the fellow actor, who is 75.
“If someone wants to spend any time thinking I’m strange for loving the most spectacular person on the planet, then that’s their problem.” Paulson told Town and Country in an interview, reported People.

“I do not want to be defined by who I share my bed, my home, my soul with. We love each other.”
Taylor, who is famed for her roles in Two and a Half Men and Legally Blonde, met Paulson at a party more than a decade ago.
Paulson remarked that she was “probably the most exquisitely beautiful woman she had ever seen.”
A few DMs were exchanged between the pair on Twitter, and the rest is history.

Months into the relationship, Paulson declared that she was in love with the septuagenarian star.
“What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor,” the actress told The New York Times in an interview in 2016.
Acknowledging the age difference, the actor said that there was “poignancy” in dating someone older than her.
“There’s a poignancy to being with someone older.”

“I think there’s a greater appreciation of time and what you have together and what’s important, and it can make the little things seem very small.
“It puts a kind of sharp light mixed with a sort of diffused light on something. I can’t say it any other way than there’s a poignancy to it, and a heightened sense of time and the value of time.”
This is not the first time Paulson has faced an onslaught for her relationship.
She was also told that the union could damage her career.
“Early on, when people found out I was with Holland, some said: ‘I think you have to be careful, I’m afraid it’s going to affect your career negatively.’
“I was like, what? It never occurred to me at all.”
Taylor’s adorable cheerleading is a highlight of Twitter.
The actress has sent a series of messages of support for her girlfriend throughout their time together.
In her latest posts, the actor has commended her girlfriend’s appearance on an Ocean’s 8 billboard spotted in New York City.
Paulson is starring in Ocean’s 8, the all-women heist comedy spin-off of the Ocean’s trilogy.
Whatever the haters say, it’s clear that they’re not going to stop this loved-up pair.
