Kylie Jenner pays tribute to dad Caitlyn on Father’s Day
Kylie Jenner celebrated Father’s Day by posting a tribute to dad Caitlyn on Instagram.
The new mum, 20, who has endured a strenuous relationship with her 68-year-old transgender father in recent years, took to social media to share a series of pictures of the pair back when Caitlyn was living as a man and she was a child.

Simply capturing the tender shots, “So lucky to have you,” they also featured Caitlyn’s other daughter with Kris Jenner, Kendall, 22.
Kylie was 16 when she discovered that the former Olympian was going to transition, and revealed that she will continue to call her “dad.”
In an interview with Wonderland in 2016, she said: “I could call her mum, I’m not against it, I’m just saying it’s not correct.
“I mean, I obviously knew about it my whole life, but it was never admitted to and then when it was all said and done, I honestly just wanted not to be lied to.
“I’m OK with everything, as long as everyone is honest.”

Jenner also revealed that she prefers her father now she is living as Caitlyn.
“I feel like it was the only thing I bottled in… I got through it, and I like it a lot better,” explained Kylie.
“I like her better than Bruce! We talk about make-up, and clothes, and we bond a lot more, but not only that. I feel like there’s not a huge secret in the family.”

She added: “I’ve honestly known about it for a really long time – we actually caught then-him dressing up as a girl when my sister and I were 6 and 7. We’ve known for a while there was something, but it was never talked about.
“I’d be with my girlfriends, and he then would come in and say, ‘What are you guys talking about?’ and joke around… and I knew there was something.
“I feel like now we hang out a lot more, there’s no secrets, she’s really living her authentic true self. I feel like that’s awesome.”

The youngest of the Kardashian / Jenner sisters added that she hoped her accepting of her transgender dad would mean that other young people would also learn to embrace the trans community.
Kylie said: “I want to be someone for my generation – I think that other girls and boys my age will see I’m so accepting and be accepting too.
“She’s the same exact person – she just looks different.”
