This Walking Dead actor took a photo with a gay porn star and social media lit up
The Walking Dead actor Daniel Newman was spotted with a gay porn star in a photo – and, well, he wasn’t banking on fans knowing who was in the shot with him.
Newman, known for his performance as Daniel in the zombie drama, uploaded the picture of him and his friend on Instagram last Tuesday. The two seemed to be enjoying some kind of water sport together.
Fans were quick to realise that the man accompanying Newman in the picture was an adult film star known as Tanner, who performs for production company Sean Cody.
Many fans of Newman started speculating about the relationship between the two men or assumed the pair were together already, calling them a cute couple.
Newman responded to his enthusiastic fans questions, saying: “Whoa. I’m amazed you all know him.”
However, he refused to comment on his fans’ theories or confirm the rumours and wrote: “Love you guys but I don’t talk about my private life.”

Newman rose to fame with appearances on The Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries and Homeland. He came out as bisexual on social media in May 2017.
“#OUTandPROUD #LGBT Love you guys. Be proud to be yourself. We need everyone just the way you are! I’ll chat with you guys tonight,” the star wrote on Twitter.

He followed his social media announcement with a YouTube video, where he explained it was “just time” for him to come out and thanked his fans for their support.
“The whole world, the industry, is like, ‘Here’s your big break, you’re on The Walking Dead, you can’t come out, you can’t be in the press, because everything you work so hard for is going to be gone – there’s no gay or bi leading men, no action heroes, your career’s going to be over,’” he said in the video. “I don’t care. Because I know what’s right.”
Newman grew up in a conservative home in Georgia and kept his sexuality hidden even after he moved to Hollywood.

“I grew up with [homosexuality] being so demonised … now it’s just celebrated, and anybody that’s homophobic is basically having to go in the closet,” he told the Advocate in late 2017.
Newman also commented on the bierasure he experienced after announcing his was bi. Namely, some publications labelled him as gay because he was dating a man, ignoring the fact he was also attracted to women.
“People magazine even said that I was gay. I had just told the reporter about being bisexual and having girlfriends and things like that,” he told the Advocate.
“She was like, ‘Oh, cool. Are you in a relationship?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I have an incredible boyfriend.’ And she’s like, ‘Oh, cool. It’s awesome you came out as gay.'”
