RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Aquaria booed off stage in Heaven nightclub, London
The winner of RuPaulās Drag Race season 10 has been booed off stage by unhappy clubgoers in G-A-Y Heaven nightclub in London.
Aquaria was performing at the āPorn Idolā show on Tuesday night when rowdy customers showed their displeasure.
The weekly show involves famous celebrities or drag queens judging members of the club audience on how they strip tease and dance.
Contestants can sign up prior to the show or during the club night, but theĀ appearing guest also gets to pick one performer from the crowd.
Aquariaās choice of act was Love Bailey, a trans performer she personally knew, which was when fans started booing.
āOne of my beautiful trans friends had the bravery to offer an entertaining show for the (many, clearly) undeserving audience members at the club because theyāre too busy making fun of the lads and demeaning the women brave/boozed enough to perform for them,ā Aquaria responded to the controversy on Twitter.
Aquaria also wrote that she ādidnāt mean to come up into the club to ruin the sanctity of Porn Idol.ā
The drag queen uploaded a video of the incident to her own Twitter profile with the caption: āDonāt fucking play this. Iām not the fucking one and the fact that yāall probably treat performers like this all over the world is fucking disgusting,ā

The video shows Aquaria speaking to the crowd on stage at Heaven nightclub, in front of the āPorn Idolā banner.
Fans are heard booing and screaming at the performer and halfway through the video Aquaria can be seen walking off the stage.
The 22-year-old, who is the youngest ever winner of RuPaulās Drag Race, was also harassed on Twitter after the incident.

According to Gay Times, a tweet to the performer, which now appears to have been deleted said: āāI am boycotting Aquaria and Jeremy Joseph after tonight. Pick someone out of the audience my fucking arse. FUCK YALL I AM MAD [AS FUCK] DO NOT CHOSE [sic] YOUR FRIENDS MOTHER FUCKER.ā
Aquaria replied to the tweet and wrote: āWooo fucking loser. Everyone in the audience booed me off the stage for picking a fierce entertainer to give yāall a show and if u donāt like that u can suck a huge fuck and donāt have me back ever again. Fucking loser mindset. Go up and show ur pathetic willy then.ā
Prior to Tuesday night Aquaria was also billed to perform at Heaven on Saturday, and in a string of tweets the performer confirmed she would still beĀ appearing.
āItās always been a pleasure to tour in the UK and London is one of my favorite cities in the world that Iāve visited. Iām very disappointed with how last night ended but am truly excited to meet everyone at my show this Saturday evening. Hopefully we can maintain a better vibe, [sic]ā the drag queen wrote.
