Kim Kardashian: I’m not homophobic, all my best friends are gay

Kim Kardashian has dismissed criticism from people who called her homophobic over a row with Tyson Beckford.
Male model Tyson Beckford had incurred the wrath of the Kardashian queen last week after he posted comments on Instagram suggesting she is unattractive.

The Make Me a Supermodel host had claimed: “She is not real, doctor f***ed up her right hip… sorry I don’t care for it.”
Kardashian hit back by writing “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it”, including a nail polish emoij – which some fans interpreted as a reference to Beckford’s sexuality.
Beckford responded to Kardashian, insisting he is “not yo sis” before clarifying: “I support LGBTQ ️ ,even though I’m not gay.”
But Kardashian has dismissed criticism.
In an interview with Real 92.3’s Big Boy, she doubled down by referring to Beckford as “sis” and “female.”
She said: “Really, dude? Like, you’re going to body-shame me? Like, okay. Okay. Okay, sis.
“People were sending me stuff on his page, he keeps on going and going and going, and I’m just like, ‘dude, that’s so female lame to me.’
“And for anyone to say that I am homophobic with the comment of saying sis? All my best friends are gay, I support the community, I love the community, they love me, that has nothing to do with this.”
Beckford, one of fashion’s most successful black male models, began his career in 1992 and made his big break with a Ralph Lauren’s Polo Sport campaign a year later—but most people will remember him as the bare-chested biker featuring a red-headed Britney Spears in the 2004 video for the song “Toxic.”
He later made another shirtless appearance in Mariah Carey’s 2015 video “Infinity.”
He has dated several models, but his current relationship status is unclear. His first and only son was born in 1998. He has participated on various charity-raising efforts, like the “Move against AIDS danceathon” in 2005 in support of the Gay Men’s Health Crisis as well as campaigns against domestic violence and raising awareness for cancer research.

He also supported the Lesotho-based charity and social enterprise Kick 4 Life, which uses football as a way of helping and educating young people.
Kim Kardashian has recently been feuding with her step-mother Caitlyn Jenner.
Speaking to students at Cambridge University, Jenner said: “It’s been a little bit tough over the last couple of years on the Kardashian side.”
“To be honest, I don’t talk to them anymore. Kim, I haven’t talked to in a year.”
She continued: “They don’t want me in their lives, the bashed me pretty badly.
“It’s devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt.
“I don’t know what the future holds. We will see.”
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Jenner confirmed that her contact with the Kardashians is basically over.
“The Kardashian side – I really don’t talk to them very often. I just kind of deal with that,” she told hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
“Fortunately, I have a lot of children,” the Olympic gold medallist added, throwing some shade.
The reality TV star said: “Since the book came out, I’ve never talked to Kris again.”
