Australian politician attacks gender fluidity ‘garbage’ and calls for ‘final solution’ to immigration
An Australian Senator is facing calls to resign after a shocking maiden speech that has attracted comparisons to Nazi Germany.
Fraser Anning was elected to the Senate on the ticket of the far-right One Nation Party, but has since defected to the fringe the fringe Katter’s Australian Party, which holds even more extreme stances.
The newly-installed Senator gave his maiden speech on August 14, stunning the chamber with an “inflammatory” diatribe on immigration and transgender issues.

At one point he appeared to evoke language used by the Nazis by referring to the need for a “final solution to the immigration problem.”
The Final Solution was the Nazi plan for the extermination of the Jews during World War II.
Anning claimed that migrants should “reflect the historic European-Christian composition of Australian society.”
He claimed: “I believe that the reasons for ending all further Muslim immigration are both compelling and self-evident. The record of Muslims who have already come to this country in rates of crime, welfare dependency and terrorism is the worst of any migrants and vastly exceeds any other immigrant groups.”
“While all Muslims are not terrorists, certainly all terrorists these days are Muslims, so why would anyone want to bring more of them here?”
Elsewhere in his speech Anning set his sights on the transgender community, parroting attacks on the Safe Schools anti-bullying programmes that have been led by anti-LGBT activists.

He claimed: “To describe the so-called ‘safe schools’ and ‘gender fluidity’ garbage being peddled in schools as ‘cultural Marxism’ is not a throwaway line but a literal truth.
“Given that everyone knows there are only two genders, if you can be persuaded to agree to and advocate in support of the false claim that there are ‘an infinite number of genders’, then, without realising it, you have surrendered your political soul.”
His comments have been widely condemned across the political spectrum.
But party leader Bob Katter gave an angry interview defending Anning.
He claimed that “it was a magnificent speech, solid gold” and that “90 per cent of Australia have been waiting for someone to say it and believe it.”
Katter added: “Are we racist? Well, we’re Australians. I don’t know if that’s racist or not, but we’re not apologising for it to anyone.”

The leader claimed Anning was unaware of the meaning of ‘final solution’, claiming : “He stumbled upon a bit of a malapropism there. He didn’t go to university.
“He’s a really smart bloke, but he hasn’t read all your history book. He wouldn’t know what any of this means, nor I think would he be spending time finding out.”
Katter is notorious for his own extreme comments, comparing same-sex marriage to crocodile attacks.
He also accused homosexuals of ‘taking’ the word gay from straight people.
