Bionic penis allows man to have penetrative sex for the first time
A man has had penetrative sex for the first time—after being fitted with a bionic penis.
Andrew Wardle, from Manchester, was born with testicles but no penis due to a rare genetic abnormality called bladder exstrophy.
However, doctors were finally able to create a phallus for the 45-year-old, who underwent multiple operations utilising skin from his arm to create the penis.
Wardle endured a two-week erection when the new device was installed and switched on, but this week revealed it had it finally allowed him to have penetrative sex for the first time.

Although he claims to have slept with more than 100 women without using a penis prior to the surgery, his girlfriend of five years Fedra Fabian was the first woman he tested out the new bionic penis with.
Speaking to The Sun, he confirmed: “It’s fantastic, I’m so pleased with it.
“Fedra had booked a romantic trip to Amsterdam for my birthday, but I felt that would have been too much pressure.
“I had to test out the function every morning and night and leave it erect for 20 minutes. So one morning, two days before we went away, it just happened.
“It was nice and natural — and that’s how I wanted it to be.
“After all Fedra and I have been through, it’s the cherry on the cake.”

The pair now hope to have children one day, though Wardle has not yet sought advice on whether he is fertile.
He added: “If I can, then I can, and if I can’t, then we’ll just adopt.”
Fabian added: “It’s fantastic – no need to worry about viagra or getting old. He can do it when he’s drunk too.
“Sex isn’t the only way to have pleasure. We’d done everything else we were able to. But there was always a point where we had to stop.”

Appearing on This Morning last year, Wardle had said: “They’ve built me completely what any man’s got. You have to see what these people can do, these NHS surgeons, it’s amazing.
“I’ve got what anyone’s got, it just needs turning on!”
Although he is pleased with the size of the new penis, he wasn’t given a chance to request a big one.
He added: “I don’t think they do sizing, you just get what you’re given.”
