Heartbroken man pleads for help to cover funeral costs for celebrity stylist fiancé
He was left heartbroken just days ago when his fiancé died, and now he is crowdfunding to help give his partner “the funeral that he deserves to have.”
Michael Mann had become well known as creative director and owner of MMC Studios, a creative firm based in Los Angeles.
He tragically passed away last week, and a cause of death has yet to be announced.
Now, his fiancé, Tyler Jacob, is begging people to donate funds so he can give Mann a proper send off.
Writing on his GoFundMe page, he said that Mann had “touched the lives of so many people through his art.”
“He worked night and day blood sweat and tears to make sure everyone around him was okay.
“He is the most giving person I’ve ever had the chance to share my life with.”
In the touching tribute, Jacob said his fiancé “brought the best out in everyone he came in contact with” and that he “always wanted everyone to be together and happy.”
He added that he is “broken” because he “can’t afford to give him the funeral that he deserves to have. I’m begging all of you to please help me with whatever you can so that he can have the funeral that he deserves.”
He is aiming to raise $35,000 and has so far raised more than $7,500 of that amount.
Mann’s death came as a shock to friends and people in his network when the news emerged at the weekend.
He has over 35,000 followers on Instagram, where he regularly updated people about his work as a stylist as well as his personal life.
One person posted a tribute to the stylist on Twitter, saying he would be missed.
Another said they were “hurt and broken” after the news, and called him a “sweet beautiful talented person.”
Somebody else said that he was “one of the dopest creatives I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I can’t believe this.”
