Who is Kaycee Clark? Openly lesbian Big Brother winner
Kayce Clark is the winner of Big Brother 20 (CBS)
Pro football player Kaycee Clark won this year’s US version of Big Brother. She won the cash prize of $500,000 and the honour of being the first lesbian to ever win the show.
Here’s everything you need to know about her.
A proud lesbian
Clark, who’s 30 years old, never hid the fact that she was a “full lesbian” during her time on the show. Sporty and covered in tattoos, she told The Hollywood Reporter she thought it contributed to her victory.
“I was just different than what they’ve seen in past seasons,” she said.
Originally from San Diego, Clark initially moved to Arizona to follow an ex-girlfriend. After their break-up, in spite of not knowing anyone, she decided to stay and make a life for herself.
She’s currently only the second LGBTQ contestant to win Big Brother. Andy Herren was the first, in 2013.

A positive, athletic competitor
In her CBS interview ahead of Big Brother’s twentieth season, she said her motto was: “Think outside the box, take risks, and never give up.”
In the game, Kaycee, who is half-Filipino, was the first Asian-American woman to win the Power of Veto (which allows a houseguest to save one person from eviction) more than once.
She describes herself as “fun, positive and athletic.”

What she’ll do with the prize money
When it comes to the $500,000 prize, Kaycee will definitely focus on her family.
“I need some new gel,” she joked. “I want to help out my family and whatever I can do to make life easier for them. And I want to travel with my family and friends and just enjoy life.”
