Jurassic World actor BD Wong has married his long-term partner Richert Schnorr in a beautiful wedding.
The actor, who made his name and won a Tony Award for his role as Song Liling in M. Butterfly before voicing Shang in Disney’s Mulan, tied the knot with Schnorr on Sunday (October 7) at Brooklyn’s Giando on the Water venue.
The newlyweds, who have been together for eight years, are the latest famous same-sex couple to get married this year, after lesbian US and Canada ice hockey rivals Meghan Duggan and Gillian Apps said ‘I do’ last month.

September also saw Queen Elizabeth’s cousin Lord Ivar Mountbatten marry airline cabin manager James Coyle in a low-key ceremony which marked the first-ever gay royal wedding.
Schnorr, the 35-year-old director of digital media for the New York Public Library, wrote on Instagram that he had realised that your wedding day “really kinda is the happiest day of your life.”
He thanked his family for “the love and words and support and dance moves,” going on to praise his wedding DJ, singer and photographer before adding: “Thanks to @wongbd for loving me.”

The pair announced their nuptials in The New York Times, telling readers that they met in 2010 “at a mixer for singles, organised by an online dating site, in New York.”
They were married by cantor Sheera Ben-David.
Wong, 57, came out in the 80s and went on to star in hit TV shows Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Mr Robot.

Earlier this year, fellow superstar actress Ellen Page tied the knot with her long-term girlfriend, dance instructor Emma Portner.
Portner, who teaches contemporary jazz at New York’s Broadway Dance Centre and has choreographed dances for Justin Bieber, broke the news online at the same time as her new wife.
Alongside heartwarming Instagram posts of the pair and their new wedding rings, Portner wrote: “I get to call this incredible woman MY WIFE!”

In her caption, Page said: “Can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife.”
The two had been posting pictures on social media of themselves together since spring 2017 before deciding to put a ring on it.
Just days after her wedding, Page joined a legion of other celebrities in groundbreaking campaign Time’s Up, which aims to end sexual harassment in Hollywood and beyond.
Page joined the campaign after accusing X-Men director Brett Ratner of sexually harassing her when she was 18.
