Big Brother’s Kenaley Amos-Sissons praises Cameron Cole for coming out
Kenaley Amos-Sissons praised Cameron Cole for coming out as gay on television as she became the fourth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.
Following her eviction on October 12, Amos-Sissons said that it was amazing to be there for Cole’s coming out.
“The fact that he felt like he had to share that with us, and I was one of the people, I was so grateful,” the evicted housemate told Digital Spy.

“The fact that he felt like he had to tell us that, and I was there, I just feel so happy that I was a part of that experience and there for that growth for him.”
Big Brother viewers were quick to praise Cole when he first confided to fellow housemate Lewis Flanagan about his sexuality, a move he had been considering since entering the house.

Simply replying with a ‘yes’, Cole then proceeded to tell the housemates during an emotional speech that “everyone on the outside knows about it, so it’s only right that you guys know about it.”
On Cole’s coming out, Amos-Sissons said: “I feel like that was so admirable to watch and see the way he was so scared, and he just let go! It just made me so happy.” She added that the housemate “should be so proud of himself and now he’s just going to start his best life, and his true self.”
During Amos-Sissons’ eviction, host Emma Willis applauded the housemates for the way they handled Cole’s coming out.
Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’s host Rylan Clark-Neal had previously said how it was the reason “why I love working on this show – because it’s only like a show on Big Brother that you really do see these moments.”
Big Brother continues on Channel 5.
