Millie Bobby Brown and cast celebrate Stranger Things Day
Millie Bobby Brown and the cast of Stranger Things are celebrating the first-ever Stranger Things Day on social media.
The Stranger Things crew marked the momentous occasion by sharing a video on the show’s official Twitter account on Tuesday (November 6).
“YOUR BFFS WISH YOU A HAPPY #STRANGERTHINGSDAY,” the caption read.
The description for the Stranger Things Twitter account has also been changed to read: “HAPPY STRANGER THINGS DAY.”
The date was chosen because, within the show’s lore, November 6, 2018 marks the 35th anniversary of character Will Byers’ disappearance.

Stranger Things fans replied to the Twitter post with glee.
“Omg i love u guys so much, HAVE THE BEST STRANGER THINGS DAY,” one person responded.
Another said: “EVERYONE LOOKS SO CUTE.”
And one person exclaimed: “Guys, I might be crazy, but I think its Stranger Things Day.”

Other fans demanded to see a trailer from season three of the show, which is expected to hit Netflix screens in mid-2019.
“Where’s the dang trailer,” one Twitter user wrote.

In June, Brown spoke out against the bullies who caused her to delete her Twitter account, while picking up her MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Performance.
She deleted her account after a memes were shared widely on social media, which depicted her as a murderous homophobe.
The 14-year-old actor had some strong words for her haters after winning Best Performance in a Show for her starring role in Stranger Things 2, appearing via a recorded message.
“Since I know there are many young people watching this – and even to the adults, too; they could probably use the reminder—that I was taught that if you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say it.”
Brown, who also won an MTV Award last year for Best Actor in a Show, added: “There should be no space in this world for bullying, and I’m not going to tolerate it, and neither should any of you.”

One of the tweets targeting Brown showed a Snapchat photo with the actor, which had the phrase “just ran over a faggot cant wait to kill all these gays off” photoshopped over it.
