Taron Egerton got ‘physical’ in Rocketman sex scene with Richard Madden

Taron Egerton has filmed a sex scene with Bodyguard star Richard Madden and has no qualms about “male intimacy.”
Egerton discussed the musical Rocketman, which focuses on Elton John’s life, in an interview with MTV while promoting his latest film, Robin Hood.
The Welsh actor plays the international superstar in the film, while Madden plays the role of John Reid, the singer’s longtime manager. The two also dated for five years.
“I really threw myself into it, I filmed my first sex scene for this film and it’s with quite a well known man,” Egerton said, without explicitly mentioning Madden.

Unlike other recent films about music icons that toned down the main character’s sexuality, Rocketman promises to be explicit in its portrayal of Elton John’s love affairs.
“I do feel the movie we shot is absolutely a celebration of everything that Elton John is and part of that is his sexuality,” Egerton said.
He continued: “I actually think the gay community will be quite surprised by quite how gay it feels. I’ve loved every second of it.
“I’m not someone who is remotely perturbed by male intimacy and I am quite proud of what we’ve done with it. We really went some places with it.”

In another interview with BANG Showbiz, Egerton discussed the sex scene with Madden in more detail: “We went to some places together and got quite physical.”
Egerton recently clarified his own sexuality in an interview with Radio Times, saying he isn’t gay. Speculation spread after he posted a picture of a friend on his Instagram account captioned “Cutie. My boy ❤️” with several fans asking the comments if he was gay.

The actor clarified the intentions behind the picture: ‘One of the lads was at my London flat and I Instagrammed a picture of him and said, ‘Look at this cutie,’ and a million outlets reported I was coming out as gay.
“I’m not gay but two of my mates came out when I was 15 and it was a joy to support them because, as a group, we are all secure in who we are.”
“I’m certainly not going to stop calling my mates cuties and gorgeous, because they are cuties and they are gorgeous,” he then added.
In fact, he has not stopped complimenting his friends on their looks, captioning a picture of a bare-chested Madden on Instagram with the words: “Marry me?”
One of Madden’s fans reminded the actor he isn’t the only one with his eyes on the Scottish actor: “The queue is long Taron” the fan wrote. But Egerton was not dissuaded so easily: “Yeah but I’m at the front darling.”
