Police ‘have video of Kevin Spacey groping busboy’
Police investigating Kevin Spacey for allegedly groping an 18-year-old busboy at a Nantucket bar in 2016 have a video of the incident, according to reports.
The complaint from Massachusetts State Police details an incident between Spacey and a busboy at the Club Car, a restaurant and bar on Nantucket on July 7, 2016, CNN reported.
The young man told the actor he was 23 and studying business at Wake Forest University.
Spacey allegedly bought him alcoholic drinks and boasted about the size of his penis, before inviting him to his house.
Later in the evening, Spacey began to rub the man’s thigh before unzipping his trousers and rubbing his penis, the man told police.
CNN reported that the then-18 year old tried to move Spacey’s hands away, but the actor allegedly did not stop.
According to the complaint, the busboy was texting his girlfriend at the time, but she didn’t believe what was happening so he sent her a Snapchat video of Spacey groping him.
His girlfriend has since confirmed to the police that he texted her about it, adding she did receive a video of Spacey “touching the front of his pants by his crotch” but couldn’t give any more details.
Spacey’s attorney has not yet responded to requests for comment.
In November 2017, TV news anchor Heather Unruh said Spacey had groped her son at a restaurant bar in 2016.
At a news conference, she said: “The victim, my son, was a starstruck, straight, 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator or that he was about to become his next victim.”
In October 2017, actor Anthony Rapp told BuzzFeed he had attended a party at Spacey’s apartment in 1986 when he was 14.
He said Spacey, who was 26 at the time, took him to his bed at the end of the party and climbed on top of him.
Spacey responded with a statement in which he apologised to Rapp, but said he had no memory of the alleged incident.
He also came out as gay in the letter, which was widely criticised by members of the LGBT+ community.
In the Nantucket case, Spacey is scheduled to be arraigned on a charge of indecent assault and battery at Nantucket District Court on January 7.
