Kendall Jenner shocks fans—by not coming out

Kendall Jenner has disappointed and angered fans who were convinced she was about to come out, only for her to reveal she was the new face of Proactiv.
Many expected the highest-paid model in the world to reveal she was queer after her mother Kris Jenner told her Twitter followers on Saturday (January 5) to watch out for the “raw story” which her “brave and vulnerable” daughter was set to tell.
But instead, Kendall Jenner’s revelation on Sunday (January 6) was that she was the new ambassador for Proactiv, the skincare company famous for its acne treatments.
A trailer for the announcement was included in Kris Jenner’s tweet, showing Kendall Jenner saying: “When I was 14, I couldn’t reach as many people as I can now.
I’m so proud of my darling @KendallJenner for being so brave and vulnerable. Seeing you share her most raw story in order to make a positive impact for so many people and help foster a positive dialogue is a testament to the incredible woman you’ve become. pic.twitter.com/rJUXdN2Wmq

“Now that I’m 22 and I have this whole thing behind me, I can speak to so many people and just be like, ‘I can help you and it’s okay. I experience it, I’m very normal and I understand you. I can connect with you. I’m going to try and help.”
Fans upset by Kendall Jenner announcement
There were many followers of Kendall Jenner who were hoping that the US star’s proclamation would be that she was queer.
One person wrote: “everyone really thought kendall jenner’s big announcement was her coming out speech when it was actually about her acne.”
Another said: “i thought kendall jenner was a bi icon but she just has acne.”
And a different user tweeted: “The Kendall Jenner ‘big announcement’ thing was that she has acne?? I thought she’d announce she’s gay :/.”
A lot of fans held out hope, writing: “kendall ain’t coming out any time soon but we KNOW she gay.”
Kendall Jenner prompts anger
Many fans, however, were simply angry at being let down by the model.

One said: “i got out of bed to get my phone this morning because i was CONVINCED Kendall Jenner was gonna be gay but her big announcement is that she’s being paid to put sudacrem on f**k this.”
A different fan wrote: “And here I was preparing her dyke card and welcoming miss kendall jenner to the gay community and she pulls this s**t.”

And another said: “My dumbass really thought Kendall Jenner was gonna come out as gay or bi .”
Some were more concise with their fury, with one tweeting: “F**K U KENDALL WE KNOW YOU’RE GAY.”
Others accused the star of deliberately misleading her followers, tweeting: “kendall jenner knows half the world thinks she’s gay and girly just used that to her advantage.
“Sis played all of us. she really had me thinking… maybe she’s finally gonna come out, but then sis told us she had acne.”
Another commenter said: “kendall jenner really had the gays by the chokehold with this announcement only for it to be about acne.”
