Sarah Paulson reveals how she met Holland Taylor: ‘She slid into my DMs’

Actor Sarah Paulson has revealed how she started dating girlfriend Holland Taylor—after the pair started messaging on Twitter.
The American Horror Story actor explained she first met Taylor some time before they actually started dating.
On Wednesday (January 23), in an interview on Watch What Happens Live, she said: “It’s a long story. We met a very, very long time ago.
“I was with someone else.”

The 44-year-old star said that she and Holland bumped into one another again, years later, while helping to promote a group that was collaborating with actor Martha Plimpton.
“We were doing a thing at Martha Plimpton’s house,” explained Paulson.
“We sort of breezed by each other and started following each other on Twitter.”

Fellow guest Billy Eichner then asked Paulson: “Holland Taylor slid into your DMs?”
“She actually did!” responded Paulson.

In May, Paulson defended the 32 year age year gap between her and her Two and a Half Men actor girlfriend Taylor.
“If someone wants to spend any time thinking I’m strange for loving the most spectacular person on the planet, then that’s their problem.” Paulson told Town and Country in an interview, reported People.
“I do not want to be defined by who I share my bed, my home, my soul with. We love each other.”
Paulson opened up about her love for Holland in an interview with The New York Times in 2016.
“What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor,” she told the publication.
Acknowledging the age difference, the actor said: “There’s a poignancy to being with someone older.”
