Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘to have gender neutral nursery’
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly planning to paint their nursery in gender neutral colours.
The royal couple, who have chosen not to find out the assigned gender of their baby before the expected birth in April, plan to decorate their nursery in white and grey, according to Vanity Fair.
The nursery at their new home of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor will contain a bedroom and playroom for the child, as well as an extra bedroom for when Markle‘s mother, Doria Ragland, visits them.
The revelation may anger Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, who last year predicted that the baby would be “a gender fluid vegan” during a tirade on his show.
He said: “I’d imagine she’s going to put this little thing through the wringer, right—it’ll be vegan, no avocado, it’ll be gender fluid, a gender fluid vegan.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have stood up for LGBT+ rights
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed that they take LGBT+ rights seriously while speaking to young queer activists from across the Commonwealth in April last year.
During the meeting, Prince Harry reportedly told the advocates that they were “on the right side of history.”
“Five to 10 years ago, we wouldn’t be having these conversations, and you guys would’ve been going against the tide… The tide is changing.”

Australian delegate Jaz Dawson, 27, told PinkNews that the prince said: “Look, it’s amazing, because five to 10 years ago, we wouldn’t be having these conversations, and you guys would’ve been going against the tide.
“And now, here you are – the tide is changing, and this is a sign of it.”
Dawson said the prince—who has been appointed as a Commonwealth youth ambassador by the queen—was “very encouraging.”
During the six-minute meeting at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Dawson said the prince also welcomed news of the first Pride parade in Eswatini.
Harry told the activists to “‘ask for one thing at a time, don’t get too ahead of yourselves’—but he was really supportive,” said Dawson.
Dawson added that Markle was also supportive of the activists’ goals, explaining that “she said that it’s just about basic rights. That’s it, simply. That’s all it is.”
Prince Harry has a history of HIV/AIDS activism
Prince Harry has also campaigned on issues relating to HIV/AIDS for several years continuing the work of his late mother, Princess Diana.
In July last year, he warned the International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam that “dangerous complacency” on HIV had put decades of progress at risk.
The British royal warned that a failure to “prioritise” HIV put work on the issue at risk, as he launched a new initiative with Sir Elton John.
