Gay Fyre Festival organiser Andy King has revealed he could be getting his own reality show.
Seasoned events producer King became an internet breakout star after the release of Netflix documentary Fyre, about the shambolic attempts to organise 2017’s Fyre Festival.
In one memorable scene, King recalls being told to “suck the d**k” of a customs official in order to secure the release of a crucial water shipment to help rescue the failing festival.
The proposed blowjob was never required, but King’s level of commitment was apparently enough to land him his own reality series.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, King revealed that he has received offers of branding campaigns with several bottled water companies, and “three TV show offers this week, from notable networks.”

He said: “In the old world of TV it was The Carol Burnett Show and these fun, light-hearted shows that weren’t all crime-related.
“You see the attractiveness of HGTV today. People love Flip or Flop or Fixer Upper.
“Let’s just say it’s going to be a show about hosting crazy events — what it takes to make them happen.
“There will be cliff-hangers, and you’ll get to follow me around and see how I pull them off.”
King added: “You’re not going to see me launching a handbag line or makeup… [but] I think I’m being given a platform that a lot of people, at age 58 especially, don’t get the opportunity to have. And I’m kind of excited about it.”

In the infamous clip from Fyre, which premiered on Netflix in January, King recalled: “[Fyre CEO] Billy [McFarland] called and said, ‘Andy, we need to take one big thing for the team.’ He said, ‘You’re our wonderful gay leader and we need you to go down [to the customs officer’s home]… will you suck d**k to fix this water problem?'”
King added: “I literally drove home, took a shower, I drank some mouthwash.
“I got into my car, to drive across the island to take one for the team. And I got to his office, fully prepared to suck his d**k.”
However, luckily for King, there was no fellatio required.
The event producer continued: “He couldn’t have been nicer, and said, ‘Andy, listen, I will release all the water, but I want to be one of the first people paid this import fee for what you’re doing.’”
