Fox News pundit who claimed gays killed marriage faces sexual misconduct claims
Married former Fox News pundit Keith Ablow, who claimed gay people had made marriage “meaningless”, has been accused of sexual misconduct by several women.
The Boston Globe reported sexual misconduct allegations against psychiatrist Dr Keith Ablow, a former frequent Fox News contributor.
According to the newspaper, three medical malpractice lawsuits have been filed against Ablow from female patients alleging he “lured” them into degrading sexual relationships.

The patients, who were seeking treatment for depression, allege that Ablow abused his authority in order to pursue sexual relationships.
Three further women, who worked for Ablow, have also filed affidavits alleging sexual harassment.
One New York patient of Ablow alleges that he would refer to her as a “slave” and “began to hit me when we engaged in sexual activities,” while another alleges that Ablow coerced her into sexual activity.
Ablow had been known for his appearances on Fox News over several years, where he frequently espoused anti-LGBT beliefs.

The psychiatrist, who has two children with wife Deborah, has previously accused gay people of making marriage “meaningless,” comparing same-sex unions to sex with a dog.
In a 2013 Fox News op-ed, he declared that marriage had “died,” writing: “If two men can marry, and three men can marry, and five women and a man can marry, and three men and two women can marry, then marriage has no meaning.”
On Fox News in 2014, he claimed: “There’s no way that the state of California can deny a marriage license to four spouses now, eight spouses, or, I would say, three human spouses and the canine they absolutely love. Because if love is the foundation of marriage, they can love their dog, too.”
Ablow has also previously attempted to link gay parenting to childhood sexual abuse.
A spokesperson for Fox News told PinkNews that it has no current relationship with Ablow, who “hasn’t been with the network since 2017.”
Ablow denies wrongdoing.
The women’s attorney Clyde D. Bergstresser told the Globe: “[I am] very proud to represent these brave and courageous women who have come forward to report the trauma they have suffered. It’s also remarkable and courageous that three former employees of Dr. Ablow have come forward to support these patients.”
Ablow’s attorney said: “Dr. Ablow has been a respected and highly regarded psychiatrist who has for decades helped countless patients. He denies any and all allegations of improper behaviour or substandard care in their entirety.”
On Twitter, he added: “Categorically, completely deny the allegations lodged against me. I look forward to the court proceedings and will continue to offer excellent care to any patient who needs my help.”
