Spice Girls: Mel B claims she had lesbian sexual encounter with Geri

Scary Spice Mel B has claimed she and fellow band member Geri Halliwell had a sexual encounter at the height of Spice Girls’ fame.

Mel B implied that she had sex with Halliwell—now Geri Horner—during an interview with Piers Morgan for his upcoming Life Stories series, reported Mail on Sunday on March 24.

The newspaper reports that Mel B nodded and smiled when Morgan asked her if she had slept with Haliwell “like that.”

Mel B, whose full name is Melanie Brown, said: “She’s [Halliwell] going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house and her husband [Formula One racing boss Christian Horner].

“But it’s a fact. It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it.”

The 43-year-old star, who was promoting her new book Brutally Honest, continued: “Hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it.

“Because it was just a fun thing.”

She said the incident with Halliwell happened only “one time.”

Mel B’s new book details her struggles with substance abuse, mental health—and the breakdown of her ten-year marriage with film producer Stephen Belafonte.

The singer previously had a five-year relationship with film producer Christine Crokos.

Discussing her sexuality, Mel B reportedly told radio host Howard Stern in 2010: “People call me lesbian, bisexual or heterosexual, but I know who’s in my bed and that’s it… I have a huge libido and a great sex life.”
