Ariana Grande has said she doesn’t “need” labels after releasing a new track, which some fans have described as a “bisexual anthem.”

The 25-year-old starĀ collaboratedĀ with her friend Victoria MonĆ©t for new song ā€œMonopoly,ā€ which features Grande singing the line: ā€œI like women and men.ā€

MonĆ©t,Ā who is openly bisexual, also raps the lyric.

The track,Ā which dropped on Monday (April 1), led to some fans discussing the Grandeā€™s sexuality online, which the singer has now addressed on Twitter.

Following the release of “Monopoly,” one fan wrote on Twitter: “Ariana ainā€™t gotta label herself, but she said what she said.”

Responding to the tweet, Grande wrote: “I havenā€™t before and still donā€™t feel the need to now which is okay.”

Some fans praised Grande for the track’s lyric.

Another Twitter userĀ declared the track a ā€œbisexual anthem.ā€

And a third said: “Ariana grande might be bi……..20biteen is serving!”

Other Twitter users, however, accused the singer of “queerbaiting.”

One person wrote: “Ariana grande has been forcing herself and profiting off the lgbt community for years she literally made a song queer baiting months ago shes stringing ppl along to believe shes bi and im literally just so tired of her.”

Grande,Ā who is headlining Manchester Prideā€™s music festival in August, and MonĆ©t released ā€œMonopoly,ā€ including a music video on social media.

At one point in the video, which features a variety of emojis, Grande punches away three virtual words added in post-production: ā€œHaters,ā€ ā€œnegativity,ā€ and ā€œTrump.ā€

GrandeĀ recently defended herself against accusations that she is exploiting the LGBT+ community by agreeing to be a headline act at Manchester Pride 2019.

On Wednesday (February 27), the ā€œ7 Ringsā€Ā singerĀ responded to a viral tweet claiming that ā€œAriana headlining prideĀ when sheā€™s straight and doubling the price of ticketsā€¦ kinda smells like exploitation of the lgbt community to me.ā€

After telling the nameless userĀ ā€œi saw many people discussing this so i wanted to chime inā€¦ hope thatā€™s okayĀ   ,ā€ Grande said she just wanted to ā€œcelebrate and support this community.ā€

The star wrote: ā€œhi my love. i have nothing to do with ticket pricingā€”manchester pride sets those rates, and theyā€™re mostly out of my control.ā€

ā€œThe lgbtq community has been so special to me and supportive throughout my entire career. the relationships i have with my lgbtq fans, friends, and family make me so so happy.

ā€œI want to celebrate and support this community, regardless of my identity or how people label me. and also i wanna visit a city that means so much to me.ā€
