Television personality RuPaul is married to Georges LeBar, a Wyoming rancher. The same-sex couple tied the knot in 2017 after much speculation about their relationship.

While LeBar stays away from the limelight, not even using social media, drag queen RuPaul has been open and articulate about their relationship.

After the couple secretly got married, RuPaul revealed that he had been with his partner for an impressive 23 years. In fact, the pair made it official on their 23rd anniversary.

How and when did RuPaul meet his husband?

On Hollywood Today, RuPaul explained how he met his husband: “I met him on the dancefloor at Limelight in 1994 on his birthday, so we got married on his birthday, the anniversary of when we met, this year in January.”

How old is RuPaul’s husband Georges LeBar?

LeBar was born in Australia on January 24, 1973, making him currently 46 years old, according to Married Biography.

This makes him almost 13 years younger than RuPaul, who is at this time 58, born on November 17, 1960.

What is Georges LeBar like?

RuPaul says that his husband is a “great guy” who couldn’t care less about showbiz.

“Most of the time he’s on the ranch in Wyoming,” RuPaul explained. “He has a 6,000 acre ranch, but when we have a chance to do anything, we want to go somewhere fabulous like Maui or New York because… god bless you Wyoming, but it’s very boring and the most isolated place on Earth.

Do Rupaul and his husband want children?

RuPaul discussed the possibility of having kids with his partner in an interview with the Guardian.

He explained: “Georges loves kids, but I know what a child needs to prosper and grow, and I don’t have the time to do that. If I were going to do it, I would devote my time to that kid.

“But, no, I’ve never wanted to do it. I love kids, but it’s mainly because I’d have to deal with the other parents.”

He continued after some thought: “But who knows? It could still happen, sure. It could happen tomorrow, you know. If he wanted to do it tomorrow, I would do it.”
