Will Young says he confronted ‘sh*tbag’ Piers Morgan at Chelsea Flower Show

Pop star and LGBT+ activist Will Young has reportedly said he confronted “sh*tbag” Piers Morgan when he was at Chelsea Flower Show with his mum last year.
Speaking to The Sunday Times Magazine, Young, 40, revealed that he had an argument with Morgan at the annual event, which is held in May in Ranelagh Gardens, south-west London.
According to the article, which was published on Sunday (April 7), Young bumped into the Good Morning Britain presenter, who was with his parents, at the show.

Young had been angered by Morgan’s response to his PTSD diagnosis, with the 54-year-old claiming in May 2018 that the pop star does not have the anxiety disorder, instead describing Young’s condition as “whiny, needy twerp syndrome.”
Young told The Sunday Times Magazine that he was initially “terrified” when he saw Morgan at the flower show, before adding:”Then I was like, I’m not letting that sh*tbag walk away without telling him.”
“I said, ‘I’m so sorry your son has turned out the way he has, because you both seem like really nice people. And I grabbed my mum’s hand and sashayed into the flower show.”

According to journalist Louis Wise, who wrote the article, Young and Morgan then engaged in a “right old English barney magazine reports that the pair then started arguing, trying to explain the definition of trauma, refusing to shake each other’s hands and so on.”

The two men reportedly clashed over the definition of the word “trauma,” with Morgan saying he knew about trauma because his brother had served in wars, and Young responding that both his grandads had suffered from PTSD.

The argument allegedly ended with Young venting to Morgan’s parents.
“I said, ‘I’m so sorry your son has turned out the way he has, because you both seem like really nice people,’” Young told The Sunday Times Magazine.
“And I grabbed my mum’s hand and sashayed into the flower show.”
