First Dates: Who is the new gay waiter?
First Dates has introduced new waiter Will, who joins the show’s beloved restaurant staff.
While the show has had many LGBT+ diners, he is the first gay waiter to work in the First Dates restaurant.
First Dates’ first gay waiter William H is hoping to bring something different to the show. He is a people’s person and loves nothing more than getting to know people while he’s at work.
It’s therefore no surprise that he was hired as First Dates‘ new waiter.
Will has worked in hospitality his whole adult life
The 25-year-old waiter has worked in hospitality for several years and says that he takes pride in giving silver service.
The young waiter is close to his mum and though originally from Devon, he now lives near the New Forest at a luxury hotel, where he also works.
Will takes his job seriously and at his hotel of employment, he’s in charge of breakfast, lunch and “fancy” afternoon tea, which is his favourite as he can let his inner showman come out.
And if he finds out that it’s a diner’s birthday or anniversary, he’ll ensure that the kitchen does some “fancy writing” on the plate in celebration.
How is the new gay First Dates waiter’s love life?
It appears Will may be single as he says he hasn’t had much luck on the dating scene.
The country boy said that “the well is truly dry,” with not many gay men in his area of the UK.
Much like the guests who come to the First Dates‘ restaurant, this waiter is hopeful that he will find someone. Will specified that he wants someone with a good sense of humour, who won’t let people take advantage of them.
Will also said he has a funny taste in men due to the fact his types are so different, and first impressions count.
