Gay Twitter is going wild for Azerbaijan’s Eurovision contestant Chingiz Mustafayev, who took to the stage last night and immediately grabbed the world’s attention.
Mustafayev—who got through to the Eurovision final last night with his song “Truth”—has developed quite the following among gay fans on Twitter since his performance at last night’s Eurovision semi-final.
Eurovision fan: ‘Azerbaijan gets all my votes’
One tweeted an image of Mustafayev wearing a tank top and said: “Azerbaijan ladies and gentleman! Now I have a semi! #Eurovision.”
Another Twitter user shared the same image and said: “Azerbaijan gets all my votes.”
Somebody else chimed in with another photo of the singer and said: “F**k the song. Give all the points to Azerbaijan.”

Another Twitter user shared several images of Mustafayev and said: “I do hope Azerbaijan qualify tonight.”
Meanwhile, somebody else declared: “Okay so the Eurovision contestant from Azerbaijan could absolutely choke me…”
Another shared a link to his Instagram profile and said: “FYI. Thank you, Azerbaijan.”
Chingiz Mustafayev started his career when he won his country’s version of Pop Idol when he was 13
Mustafayev was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to Azerbaijan when he was six.
Before starting his Eurovision journey, Mustafayev started off on the Azerbaijani version of Pop Idol, which he won when he was just 13-years-old. He later competed on The Voice Ukraine.

He later represented Azerbaijan at the New Wave competition in Latvia.
He also co-wrote his Eurovision entry, “Truth” alongside Borislav Minanov.
He will take to the stage again this Saturday, to the delight of his gay fanbase
Mustafayev will be performing again this Saturday in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, and his odds of winning have apparently improved since last night’s performance.
Among the other competitors on Saturday night will be the UK’s representative Michael Rice.
Organisers have also booked pop star Madonna to perform on the night. The singer was reportedly booked months ago, however doubt was cast over her performance earlier this week when organisers said she had not yet signed a contract.
However, Eurovision confirmed last night that Madonna’s performance of “Like A Prayer” and brand new track “Future” will go ahead as planned.
