Watch Dressing Funny: Tan France styles comedians in Netflix web series
Tan France is getting his own web series on Netflix’s YouTube channel and hopefully there will be French tucks abound.
Dressing Funny is out today (June 21) and will see the Queer Eye fashion expert styling comedians in short, funny episodes.
The comedians confirmed to be on the show are: John Mulaney, Ali Wong, Pete Davidson, Rachel Dratch, Tina Fey, Miranda Sings, and Nick Kroll.
The first episode is out now and features John Mulaney trying to wear something other than a tuxedo or an old-man-jumper. Or, in the fashion expert’s words, “less daddy” and “more f***able.”
At one point France goes a bit far, putting 36-year-old Mulaney in a full insta-teen outfit complete with neon sweatshirt, chunky trainers and bumbag slung across the shoulder.
Mulaney asks: “Will this ever be in my life, this sweatshirt?” To which France replies: “I don’t think so. And I think that’s a really good thing.”
Tan France: “if it works for this gay, it will probably work for women too”
When he’s dressed in a more sophisticated outfit, France tells Mulaney: “It works for me. And if it works for this gay, it will probably work for women too.” He even makes the comedian blush by complimenting his bum.
Mulaney also asks France the question everyone wanted to know: Does he throw his clothes on the floor when he gets home?
His answer: “No, absolutely not, but I’m assuming you do. Straight men…”
Viewers will be treated with two episodes in two days, as Nick Kroll’s episode will be released tomorrow (June 22), but after that will have to wait for new episodes to be released every Thursday.
Netflix also announced last month (May 17) that the Queer Eye star will be hosting new reality competition series Next In Fashion alongside Alexa Chung.
