Trump rages after lesbian soccer star Megan Rapinoe says she won’t go to White House

President Donald Trump has hit out at lesbian soccer hero Megan Rapinoe, after she vowed not to skip a White House reception.
Rapinoe is expected to be invited to a reception with Trump after the team made it to the quarter-finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Megan Rapinoe: I’m not going to the f**king White House.
However, she suggested she would boycott the event in an interview with Eight By Eight Magazine.
Asked whether she would attend a reception with Trump, Rapinoe said: “I’m not going to the f**king White House.
“No, I’m not going to the White House… we’re not going to be invited! I doubt it.”

The sports star has refused to sing the national anthem at world cup matches, saying the Trump administration doesn’t “value all Americans equally.”
Her comments drew the ire of President Trump in a a mid-morning Twitter storm on Wednesday (June 26).

Taking to Twitter, the leader wrote: “Women’s soccer player, @mPinoe, just stated that she is ‘not going to the F…ing White House if we win.’
“Other than the NBA… leagues and teams love coming to the White House. I am a big fan of the American Team, and Women’s Soccer, but Megan should WIN first before she TALKS! Finish the job!
“We haven’t yet invited Megan or the team, but I am now inviting the TEAM, win or lose.
“Megan should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team. Be proud of the Flag that you wear. The USA is doing GREAT!”

Rapinoe has previously called out the leader’s attacks on NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, saying in 2017: “His comments are disgusting. They’re un-American, to say the very least. It’s totally inappropriate, it’s un-presidential, it’s embarrassing.”
Other athletes, including gay Olympians Adam Rippon and Gus Kenworthy, have previously boycotted White House events and called out the Trump administration.
In a previous interview with The Guardian, Rapino explained: “The more I’ve been able to learn about gay rights and equal pay and gender equity and racial inequality, the more that it all intersects.
“You can’t really pick it apart. It’s all intertwined. God forbid you be a gay woman and a person of colour in this country, because you’d be really f**ked.
“You can’t really speak out on one thing and not another without it not being the full picture.
“We need to talk about a larger conversation in this country about equality in general and respect – especially with the narrative that’s coming from the White House right now.”
