Milo Yiannopoulos, a gay alt-right writer, has threatened to gatecrash the word’s largest furry convention after it banned him from attending.
The disgraced former Breitbart editor attempted to win fans in the furry community by attending Midwest FurFest in Chicago and announcing his ‘fursona’ as a snow leopard.
According to Right Wing Watch, he requested to host a panel called ‘The Politics of Fur’. He asked his followers to message him to arrange “dinner, drinks, photos or anything else”.
But after hearing Yiannopoulos purchased tickets to the furry festival, convention-goers were in uproar. Culminating with organisers rescinding his registration, according to a news release.
As a result, the political commenter released alleged emails between him, the Midwest FurFest press team and the Midwest Furry Fandom board on Telegram.
“I’m coming anyway. And I’m bringing friends,” Milo Yiannopoulos warns.
Yiannopoulos reportedly told organisers: “I’m coming anyway. And I’m bringing friends. Get ready,” according to screenshots shared on Twitter of his posts.

Moreover, he claimed he booked two hotel rooms under friends’ names, which he said granted him “unfettered access to hotel facilities”.
He then gave Midwest FurFest 24 hours “to act” and “rescue this relationship”.
When the board informed Yiannopoulos that his membership has been canceled and payment refunded, he replied: “Is it because I’m black?”
This month, it emerged that the 34-year-old is now ‘broke’ and unable “to put food on the table” after he was de-platformed from Twitter and Facebook for violating hate speech rules.
Yiannopoulos complained that since becoming a “social media refugee” his following is now “microscopic”, potentially explaining why he has been reaching out to the furry community.
Midwest FurFest told the Daily Dot that it had no additional comment on the new developments.
