Tati Westbrook talks about being ‘stabbed in the back’ following James Charles drama
The epic showdown between YouTube beauty guru’s James Charles and Tati Westbrook kept the internet on the edge of their seats earlier this year.
But mentions of the clash have been scarce since they called a ceasefire on any further takedowns. Until now.
Speaking to E! at the launch of her new beauty line, Tati Beauty, Westbrook seemingly made reference to the drama.
Talking about the support she’s received from makeup artist Scott Barnes, she said: “He’s like, ‘Babe, I’m so excited for you. We’re going to really show the industry that two powerhouses can actually come together instead of stabbing each other in the back. They can support each other and it’s going to be the actual message of beauty.’”
She continued: “So I’m really excited about that and I’m really excited to show that that can be done, that we both can have success.”
Westbrook’s now-infamous ‘Bye Sister’ video criticised Charles for promoting a competitor’s vitamin brand while she had just launched her own, Halo Beauty.
Meanwhile on Twitter, the beauty guru has been thanking influencers who are supporting the new Tati Beauty line.
Tweeting Manny MUA, who famously had drama with Jeffree Star, she said: “I’m crying glitter tears right now. So grateful you would take time to review my shadow… pretty damn selfless & I’m kinda blown away.”
I'm crying glitter tears right now.
So grateful you would take time to review my shadow – especially when you just launched a beautiful collection of your own… pretty damn selfless & I'm I'm kinda blown away 🙏🏻

Tati Westbrook also tweeted Dana Ward, saying: “I’m so honored & happy to be able to call you a friend in this sometimes scary industry.”
Ok… now I'm just ugly crying 😭😭😭
I can't believe you would take time to put this together… I'm so honored & happy to be able to call you a friend in this sometimes scary industry… so much love for you – wow… 🦋✨ https://t.co/QraNvXJQbB— Tati Westbrook (@GlamLifeGuru) October 25, 2019
With Shane Dawson’s docu-series set to cover the now-infamous Tati Westbrook and James Charles drama, it might not be long until the internet is awash with drama yet again. And that’s the tea.
