Lady Gaga is being read to filth after saying she ‘doesn’t remember ARTPOP’
Lady Gaga is on the edge of being read to filth after she threw shade at her album ARTPOP.
Having conquered the worlds of music and acting, Gaga seems, as of late, to be focusing her attentions on the art of trolling.
In recent months she’s causes minor furores by teasing the name of her sixth album, tweeting single letters, and now, by alleging to have forgotten one of her most iconic albums.
The singer’s claim that she “doesn’t remember ARTPOP” sparked upset, incited fury and prompted sighs among her Little Monsters.

Some took the opportunity to throw shade at Gaga’s most recent album, the stripped-back, country-tinged Joanne.

ARTPOP, Gaga’s third full-length effort, was billed as a “reverse Warholian expedition”. It was released in November 2013 alongside a companion app described as “a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology with a new interactive worldwide community — ‘the auras'”.
Led by the single ‘Applause’ and boasting cover art designed by Jeff Koons, the album won mixed reviews and experienced sluggish sales compared to her first two efforts.
Along with the singles Venus’ and ‘G.U.Y.’, the album was notable for the R Kelly-featuring ‘Do What U Want’.
Gaga pulled the track from streaming services and digital stores in January, shortly after a docu-series containing allegations of sexual abuse against the singer aired in the US.
She rereleased physical editions of the album last month, with new pressings omitting the duet.
Currently performing her critically-acclaimed Enigma show in Vegas, Gaga has also confirmed that she is working on her highly-anticipated sixth album.
