Céline Dion celebrated her new album Courage surrounded by several other Céline Dions.

Dion, 51, performed an impromptu karaoke set at Lips Drag Queen Show Palace Restaurant and Bar in New York City.

But it was a show greatly enhanced by the several other Céline Dions in attendance. As the only thing better than a single Céline Dion, are several Céline Dions.

To clarify, they were in the form of drag queens.

Dion said she was “more than thrilled” to be performing at the official Columbia Records release party.

“I’m so excited and I’m so honored that you’re here tonight. I want to thank you so very much for your support throughout the years.”

“This album has been a long process.”

Courage will be the Canadian singer’s first English-language studio album in six years.

To celebrate, 10 guests came together to perform the star’s greatest hits with a drag show woven in-between for good measure.

Lip Girls such as Blackie O and Stephanie Stone took to the bejewelled stage, bracket by dazzling green curtains, to entertain party guests.

But as the clocks struck midnight, Dion herself appeared wearing Rodarte metallic trouser and blouse set.

“I hope René will like the album,” she said referring to her husband, René Angélil, who died in 2014.

“I hope you will like it as well. I put my heart into it.”

Dion quickly disappeared into the night, however. But, in a plot twist nobody saw coming, she returned.

Still dazzling, of course.

“I can’t leave, I can’t leave,” she said. “You can’t get rid of me like that.

I can’t just say: ‘Hi, thank you for your support, good night and have a good time’.”

“We’re going to get some music going,” she finished.

The stage lights lit as Dion entered into ‘Flying on My Own’, but the musician was in no way alone as the crowd joined in to help her.
