Just when you thought Bake Off couldn’t get any gayer, one of Queer Eye’s Fab Five is joining the next celebrity series

The Great British Bake Off is welcoming Queer Eye‘s Tan France for its next celebrity edition.
The Doncaster-born star will French tuck his way into the tent for The Great Celebrity Bake Off later this year, according to The Yorkshire Post.
France is one of a host of stars reportedly taking part in the series, which is in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss, singer and Twitter legend James Blunt, tennis ace Johanna Konta, presenter Kelly Brook and actress Caroline Quentin will also reportedly take part in the five-part run, said to be airing in the spring.
Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will also judge the effort of documentary maker Louis Theroux, TV judge Rob Rinder and presenters Alex Jones, Carol Vorderman and Scarlett Moffatt.
Also hoping to avoid a soggy bottom will be comedians Mo Gilligan, Russell Howard, Joel Dommett and Jenny Eclair, along with This Morning‘s Alison Hammond, Love Island‘s Ovie Soko, ex-EastEnders actor Patsy Palmer, YouTuber Joe Sugg and Inbetweeners actor James Buckley.
Bake Off star hits back at anti-gay troll.
Bake Off recently returned to screens with a duo of festive specials, one of which featured the cast of Channel 4’s Derry Girls.
The other welcomed back previous contestants including 2017 contestants Tom Hetherington and Yan Tsou, both of whom are gay.
Hetherington took to social media after trolls bemoaned the inclusion of “two homosexuals, a Chinese lesbian and a disabled woman” as “left wing bias”.
“In the wise words of “yannybakes, try: architect, inventor, award-winning scientist, TV presenter” he hit back.

The last full series of Bake Off was won by David Atherton, who became only the third LGBT+ person to take home the crown after series one’s Edd Kimber and series three’s John Whaite.
